My name is David Roberts, and I am a geek. And a nerd. And an artist. I've always been interested in technology and art. I enjoy both sides of the spectrum, but my favorite fields are those where the two overlap and coexist in equal amounts. Web design is one of the best examples of this, but there are many. In high school I started learning 3D computer graphics. This led me to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design. Although I majored in computer animation, while I was there I also studied design, color theory, art history, and so much more. After graduating with honors in 2010, I got a job doing engineering and 3D rendering for a furniture company. I learned some web design basics in college and continued to grow my skill set afterwards, eventually doing web design both for my employer and as a freelancer.
Some of my other interests include camping, hiking - basically anything outdoors actually. And music. My wife and I are both musicians, and we play about six different instruments each. In our spare time we enjoy writing and recording music at home. We're also passionate about our Catholic faith, and sharing it with others. We met through volunteering with our parish youth group, and have continued to stay involved in youth ministry in various ways ever since. My wife is now the youth minister and college campus minister for St Luke's parish in Dahlonega, GA. We were recently blessed with the birth of our first child, a beautiful baby girl named Avery.
